In 2025, Signet maintained high productivity indicators in livestock farming, ProAgro Group reports.
According to the agricultural producer, a total of 7.2 million litres of gross milk yield were obtained over the year from 616 milking cows. The average milk yield per cow amounted to 11.7 thousand litres, confirming the stability of the company’s production results.
Signet emphasizes that the key focus was placed on milk quality. In particular, the standardized milk yield increased to almost 41 litres per cow, compared with 39 litres a year earlier. An increase in fat and protein content was also recorded.
As explained by Serhii Stepanidenko, CEO of Signet-Milk, the positive dynamics were the result of systematic team efforts: the implementation of genetic programs, improvement of the feed base, and investments in technology. In particular, a modern milk cooling system was installed at the enterprise, allowing milk to be cooled immediately to 4–6°C even during the summer period. In addition, silage harvesting was carried out using two harvesters, which made it possible to reduce the harvesting period from two weeks to one.
Signet is a Ukrainian agricultural group that develops crop production and livestock farming and actively invests in modern milk production technologies.
Previously, it was reported that prices for raw milk continue to decline amid rising imports and an oversupply of products on the market.
