Elisabeth Svyatkivska, Secretary of European Integration Committee The Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine, has called on market operators to join the discussion of the consultation draft of the Roadmap for the integration of Ukraine’s dairy sector into the European Union.
According to her, the expert input of milk producers, processors, and industry partners is essential for shaping an effective development strategy and adapting Ukraine’s dairy sector to EU requirements and standards.
Market operators are invited to review the consultation document and submit their proposals through an online survey. The Roadmap draft and the feedback questionnaire are available at the following link.
The consultation period runs from February 16 to March 10.
The Roadmap is being developed by the Committee in partnership with the Association of Milk Producers of Ukraine with support from Switzerland within the Swiss-Ukrainian program “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sectors of Ukraine” (QFTP). The program is implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG; Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine.
