Milk processing volumes in Ukraine remained stable in 2025, with dairies receiving around 3.2 million tonnes of cow’s milk, a figure almost identical to that of 2024. Consumption of dairy products also remained virtually unchanged, standing at 209 kg per person per year.
Forbes.ua notes that, despite this, all companies in the top 10 largest dairy producers managed to increase their revenue. The main drivers were exports, the development of high-protein and functional products, the HoReCa sector, and investments in production sustainability.
Terra Food Dairy topped the ranking with revenue of 10.1 billion hryvnia. The Bilotserkivska Agro-Industrial Group recorded the highest growth rate — up 42% in 2025.
1. Terra Food Dairy

In 2025, the company expanded its product portfolio with launches including thick ryazhanka and lactose-free butter. High-fat dairy products generated more than UAH 1 billion in additional revenue.
The company also renamed its “Feta” cheese to “Felata” due to EU geographical indication regulations protecting the “Feta” name.
2. Milk Alliance

New products included milkshakes and ayran developed jointly with the Doner Market chain operated by MHP.
Exports accounted for around 20% of total sales, with products shipped to more than 30 countries, including Japan, Vietnam, Mexico, Egypt, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria.
3. Halychyna

Exports nearly doubled in 2025 and became one of the company’s main growth drivers. Halychyna also strengthened its HoReCa and B2B segments through the launch of the dedicated brand Galychyna HoReCa Milk&More.
The company is actively investing in cheese production and alternative energy solutions.
4. Danone Ukraine

5. Lactalis Ukraine

6. Lustdorf

One of the major challenges for 2026 is labor shortages, prompting further automation investments.
8. Vinnytsia Dairy Plant Roshen

- Growth in 2025: 17%
The plant processes up to 600 tons of milk daily and produces milk powder, butter, and condensed milk.
In 2025, the company launched cogeneration systems to ensure alternative energy supply for production facilities. Products are exported to more than 50 countries.
9. Bila Tserkva Agroindustrial Group

- Growth in 2025: 42%
The company recorded the fastest revenue growth in the ranking and exports products to 70 countries worldwide.
Following the launch of a new dairy farm, the group plans to increase milk production from 65 to 100 tons per day.
10. Prydniprovskyi Combine
