According to Bastille Post Global, Uruguayan dairy company Conaprole has signed a strategic agreement with a Chinese partner aimed at deepening commercial and technological cooperation.
The initiative was presented during the official visit of Uruguay’s President Yamandú Orsi to China, accompanied by a business delegation.
Conaprole President Gabriel Fernández Secco stated that China is the company’s most important market in the dairy segment. The cooperative exports more than 80% of its production to over 75 countries worldwide, yet it seeks to further expand its footprint in China.
Under the new partnership, the parties plan joint investments in research and production technologies to enhance product quality, safety, and sustainability.
Whole milk powder remains Conaprole’s flagship export product, playing a central role in international trade and particularly in cooperation with Chinese companies. At the same time, the cooperative already supplies a broad portfolio of dairy products to China and is considering further product line expansion in the near future.
