According to Farmers Journal, Kerry Dairy Ireland has kept its base milk price for January supplies at 31.67 euro cents per liter, excluding VAT.

At the same time, the processor announced an additional bonus payment of 2.87 cents per liter (excluding VAT), which will be paid on top of the base price for milk delivered last month.

Including quality and sustainability bonuses, the actual payment to suppliers for January amounts to 35.89 cents per liter.

At standard EU constituents (3.40% protein and 4.20% fat), the milk price stands at 39.31 cents per liter, excluding VAT.

Taking into account the average milk solids content delivered to Kerry in January, the final payment — including all bonuses — reaches 43.33 cents per liter, excluding VAT.

The company noted that global dairy markets have stabilized in recent weeks despite continued high milk supply. However, production volumes in major exporting countries remain above earlier forecasts.
