More than 25% of dairy products on the market are adulterated, yet seven sweet-cream butter and cottage-cheese items under TM “Bilo” and TM “Bilotserkivskyi”, produced by PE Bilotserkivska Agro-Industrial Group, have once again confirmed their natural status under the “Zelenyi Zhuravlyk” (Green Crane) ecolabel, according to a Facebook post about the ecolabel.
Most adulteration hits butter, cheese and sour cream, where natural milk fat is swapped for cheaper vegetable substitutes — so consumers pay for a natural product but receive something quite different.
Dairy products carrying the “Zelenyi Zhuravlyk” eco-certification undergo independent verification by an internationally recognized accredited body and meet high standards of naturalness, safety and sustainable production.
Four sweet-cream butter items and three fermented-milk (cottage) cheese items under TM “Bilo” and TM “Bilotserkivskyi”, made by PE Bilotserkivska Agro-Industrial Group, again passed confirmation of their naturalness, earning the right to use the word “natural” and to carry the “Natural Product” marking.
The eco-certified products are made exclusively from cow’s milk. Their production allows no GMOs, no substitutes (trans fats, artificial proteins, lactose and the like), and no flavorings, stabilizers, preservatives, colorings, artificial food additives, sweeteners or ingredients derived from artificial-origin raw materials.
