Participants discussed the dairy sector’s key challenges and the union’s role in consolidating the industry’s position and its dialogue with the state.

On 4 August, the board of directors of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine (UDEU) held a strategy session focused on the key challenges facing the dairy sector today: logistics, a staffing shortage, ensuring food security and the ability of business to adapt quickly to new challenges, the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine reports.

The discussion covered not only the problems but also how the sector should respond to them, which solutions need to be found jointly, and what the union’s role in this process should be: how to consolidate the industry’s position more effectively, conduct dialogue with the state and create more opportunities to support the sector’s stable operation and development.

The strategy session provided a space for open discussion, the exchange of practical experience and the definition of shared priorities for the period ahead. The session was moderated by Oksana Osmachko. The union thanked all participants for their active involvement, constructive dialogue and readiness to seek solutions together to strengthen the sector.
