Viktor Ivanchyk, founder and CEO of the agri-industrial holding Astarta-Kyiv — one of Ukraine’s largest industrial milk producers — has become chair of the supervisory board of the National Aerospace University «Kharkiv Aviation Institute» (KhAI), Forbes Ukraine reports.
The appointment was announced by Iryna Ivanchyk, a member of the supervisory board of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and a senator of the Ukrainian Catholic University, during the Forbes University conference. Most of KhAI’s new supervisory board is made up of business representatives, which is expected to help the university strengthen cooperation with the private sector, discuss its needs directly with companies and attract additional resources for its development.
KhAI is Ivanchyk’s alma mater — he graduated as a mechanical engineer — and since 2018 he has also chaired the supervisory board of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Astarta-Kyiv is a vertically integrated agri-industrial holding founded by Viktor Ivanchyk in 1993. It was the first Ukrainian agricultural company to go public, listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2006. Livestock is one of the holding’s key segments — Astarta-Kyiv is among Ukraine’s largest industrial milk producers — alongside sugar production, soybean processing, crop growing and bioenergy. It is a member of the ‘Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine’.
