Over 23 million kilograms of milk, nearly 600,000 kilograms of meat and production plans exceeded — these are the first-half 2026 results of the livestock segment of Epicentr Agro, which became the basis for discussion at a production meeting that mapped out the sector’s next steps.
The company’s livestock division now comprises 11 dairy-commodity farms with over 10,000 head of cattle, of which 4,725 are feed cows.
In six months, the farms produced 23.3 million kg of milk with an average fat content of 3.92% and 597,000 kg of meat in live weight.
The milk production plan was exceeded by 85,800 litres and meat sales by 7.9%.
At the meeting, managers and specialists analysed the performance of each production unit, identified reserves for further efficiency gains and set priorities for the second half of the year. These include raising the herd’s milk productivity, improving livestock retention, finding additional income sources and developing the fattening of dairy-breed bull calves as a promising tool to boost profitability.
The strong first-half results are not a finish line, the company says, but a benchmark for new production targets and the sector’s further development.
