Kazakhstan produced 1.9 million tonnes of milk in the first half of 2026, up 2.4% year on year, with the growth driven by new dairy-commodity farms coming on stream, ElDala.kz reports, citing the government press service.
Dairy farms built in 2024–2025 are already making a substantial contribution to the sector’s development and have become one of the factors behind the rise in milk output.
Overall, the country expects steady growth in agriculture over the first seven months, supported by the harvest campaign, the development of livestock farming, higher output of food and beverages, and record volumes of subsidised financing for the agro-industrial complex.
