One of Ukraine’s largest ice cream producers has lost a warehouse of finished products prepared for dispatch to retail chains.
Lasunka, one of Ukraine’s largest ice cream producers, has reported the complete destruction of its warehouse complex in a Russian attack, in a statement on Threads.
The fire destroyed the entire batch of finished products prepared for dispatch to retail chains across Ukraine. The company warned that its ice cream may be temporarily absent from store shelves in the near future and apologised to customers and partners.
«The enemy can destroy property or walls, but it can never destroy our resilience and your trust in us», the statement said.
The producer said it intends to resume operations and meet its obligations to partners and consumers; the scale of the losses, the exact location of the warehouse and estimated timelines for restoring supplies have not been disclosed.
According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (SES), the Russian strike on Dnipro caused a large fire at food-product warehouses; rescuers contained the blaze, with no casualties reported so far.

Lasunka has operated since 1997 and is among Ukraine’s largest ice cream producers. Per YouControl, the company is registered in Dnipro, employed 813 people as of the end of Q1 2026, and its 2025 revenue exceeded UAH 2.5 billion.
The strike on Lasunka continues a series of Russian attacks on the logistics and warehouses of Ukrainian food producers — including the destruction of publisher Rozum’s warehouse in Vyshneve, Kyiv region, on the night of 1 August, and a Nova Poshta freight depot in Pryluky, Chernihiv region, on the evening of 3 August.
