The third annual forum marking World Farm Animals Day takes place on 29 September and 2 October 2026 in a hybrid format, under the patronage of Ukraine’s Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Registration is open for the third annual Forum „Animal Welfare — Ukraine 2026: From Commitments to Action“, dedicated to World Farm Animals Day and taking place on 29 September and 2 October 2026 in a hybrid format, Derzhprodspozhyvsluzhba, Ukraine’s State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, reports.
The event is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, in cooperation with Derzhprodspozhyvsluzhba (the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection) and with the support of international development partners.
Over two days, participants will be able to:
- explore French and Ukrainian experience in the practical implementation of animal-welfare requirements;
- learn more about approaches to shaping state policy, training market operators’ staff and organising state control;
- join a professional dialogue on current needs, challenges and next steps in the field.
The discussions will bring together representatives of Ukrainian public authorities, EU member states, international partners, market operators, industry and professional associations, scientific and educational institutions, and civil-society organisations.
